Mack trucks
More than nine in ten Mack software versions in this catalogue run on TRW EMS controllers. The Euro 4 and Euro 5 MP7, MP8 and MP10, from about 2007 to 2013, use TRW EMS2.2. The Euro 6 MP7 and MP8 from about 2014 to 2018 use TRW EMS2.3, and the MP8 from 2019 uses TRW EMS2.4. From about 2022 the newest Mack trucks moved to Bosch ECM4.
Every Euro 6 Mack has a second controller for AdBlue — the ACM. For a full DPF, EGR and AdBlue delete the most complete solution is to read both the engine ECU and the ACM; reading only the engine ECU and unplugging the ACM also works, at the same price. On Euro 4 and Euro 5 trucks the ACM does not need to be read.
