TRW EMS2.2 — Euro 4 and Euro 5 Volvo, Renault and Mack

TRW EMS2.2 is the engine controller of the Euro 4 and Euro 5 generation, found mainly on trucks built from about 2007 to 2013, and on some Volvo machines up to 2015.

On Volvo it runs the D4, D5, D7, D8 and D9 engines (4.1–9.4 L) and the D11, D12, D13 and D16 engines (10.8–16.1 L), as well as the B9R, B11R, B12B and B13R bus chassis. On Renault Trucks it is the Euro 5 Magnum, Premium, Kerax, Midlum and T. On Mack it is the MP7, MP8 and MP10 engines.

We have worked with the TRW EMS family since 2014 and have done more than 150 different models and software structures on it. Every file is modified by hand in WinOLS, with no automation, and the sensors of the removed systems can be disconnected.

On Euro 4 and Euro 5 trucks the AdBlue controller (ACM) does not need to be read: reading the engine ECU and unplugging the ACM is enough.
