Speed limiter / Vmax: removing or changing the factory top speed limit

Most vehicles leave the factory with a top speed limit written into the ECU: 250 km/h on many premium cars, 90 km/h on trucks, specific limits on vans, buses, ATVs, UTVs and motorcycles, and fleet limits set by the owner. We change that value in the software — either lift it or set a new one.

Raise or remove the limit on cars and motorcycles (track use).
Set a lower limit for fleets, rental vehicles or young drivers.
Adjust truck and bus limiters — for example, from 85 to 90 km/h or the other way round.

Vmax value changed in every place where the ECU applies it (some ECUs keep several copies, per gear or per mode).
