IMMO off: disabling the immobilizer in the engine ECU or EEPROM
The immobilizer links the engine ECU to the car's keys and body modules. When the ECU is replaced, the engine is swapped into another vehicle, or the immobilizer module fails, the engine will not start until the parts are matched again — which is often impossible without dealer access.
Typical cases
- Engine swaps and race or project cars without the original body electronics.
- Used or replacement ECUs from another vehicle.
- Failed immobilizer modules or lost keys on older vehicles and machines.
What we do
- Immobilizer function disabled in the engine ECU flash or EEPROM file.
- The engine starts without communication with the immobilizer module.
- Available for many Bosch EDC/ME, Siemens/Continental, Delphi, Denso, Marelli and other ECUs — send the read (flash and/or EEPROM) to check.
We work only with files from legitimate owners and workshops. Proof of ownership may be requested.
How to order
Register in the AUTO-REMAP file service, upload the original read of the ECU, tick Full IMMO off EEPROM together with any other options you need, and download the modified file — usually within minutes, complex ECUs within working hours. Checksums are corrected automatically.
