EMD1 is the Scania controller generation after EMS S8, on Euro 6 trucks from 2018 with a DOC/DPF on top of EGR and SCR — the DC09, DC13 and DC16. The solution is a full delete — EGR, SCR/AdBlue and DOC/DPF — modified by hand in WinOLS. For AdBlue/SCR off the AdBlue pump module does not have to be removed; if the DOC/DPF is removed, the pump module has to be removed and disconnected as well.

Questions about Siemens/Continental EMD1
Do I need to remove the AdBlue pump?
For AdBlue/SCR off the AdBlue pump module does not have to be removed. If the DOC/DPF is removed, the AdBlue pump module has to be removed and disconnected as well.
Can I remove only the DPF and keep AdBlue?
We do not recommend it: the NOx sensor sees the emissions and the SCR side faults. AdBlue can be removed on its own while the DPF stays in service.
How is this spelling priced?
The same as Motorola EMS EMD1 — it is the same controller written differently.
