Motorola EMS10 CEM1 — Scania S series, Euro 6

This page lists the Scania EMS10 controller under the spelling “Motorola EMS10 CEM1”, as it is written in the source database: 1 software version from 2022 — Scania S530, with the 16.4 L.

EMS10 is the controller of the Scania S series on Euro 6 — the 12.7 L (400–550 hp) and the DC16 16.4 L (530–780 hp). The work is the full Euro 6 solution — EGR, SCR/AdBlue and DOC/DPF off — modified by hand in WinOLS. For AdBlue/SCR off the AdBlue pump module does not have to be removed; if the DOC/DPF is removed, the pump module has to be removed and disconnected as well.

Every software version below has its own page with the vehicle it belongs to, the solutions available for that exact file and a price calculator. Read the ECU, find your number, open the page.

Questions about Motorola EMS10 CEM1

Do I need to remove the AdBlue pump?

For AdBlue/SCR off the AdBlue pump module does not have to be removed. If the DOC/DPF is removed, the AdBlue pump module has to be removed and disconnected as well.

Can I remove only the DPF and keep AdBlue?

We do not recommend it: the NOx sensor sees the emissions and the SCR side faults. AdBlue can be removed on its own while the DPF stays in service.

How is this spelling priced?

The same as Continental EMS EMS10 — it is the same controller written differently.
