Scania EMS S8 (Continental) — Scania R series and Doosan
This is the same Scania EMS S8 controller listed under the Continental name. The catalogue indexes 97 software versions here, most from 2014 to 2018 — mainly Scania R-series trucks (R410 to R730) with the 12.7 L, 16.4 L and 9.3 L engines, and a few Doosan DL550 loaders, Hyundai and Terex machines.
The work is the full Scania solution: EGR, SCR/AdBlue and, on Euro 6, DOC/DPF off, modified by hand in WinOLS. For AdBlue/SCR off the AdBlue pump module does not have to be removed. If the DOC/DPF is removed, the AdBlue pump module has to be removed and disconnected as well.

Can I remove only the DPF and keep AdBlue?
We do not recommend removing only the DPF while AdBlue keeps working: the SCR side will keep logging faults. AdBlue can be removed on its own while the DPF stays in service.
