Continental ACM21 — Mercedes ACM on Mercedes and Claas

This page lists the Mercedes ACM aftertreatment controller under the spelling “Continental ACM21”, as it is written in the source database: 2 software versions from 2018 — Mercedes Actros-1842, Claas Lexion, with the 12.8 L and 10.7 L.

The ACM works alongside the MCM engine controller on the Mercedes-Benz Euro 6 engines and their Detroit Diesel versions: it runs AdBlue dosing and holds all the DOC/DPF maps, so it has to be modified whenever the DPF is removed. AdBlue off needs the reads of both controllers — the MCM and the ACM. For most models AdBlue dosing can instead be reduced by 50–70%.

Every software version below has its own page with the vehicle it belongs to, the solutions available for that exact file and a price calculator. Read the ECU, find your number, open the page.

Questions about Continental ACM21

Do I need to read the ACM as well?

The complete route is to read both the MCM and the ACM. Reading only the MCM and unplugging the ACM also works, but the vehicle then needs Xentry coding afterwards, and we send the instructions.
