Quick buy · Original ECU files

Terms of Service

These Terms apply when you buy an original ECU file by card, without registration (“Quick buy”), on auto-remap.com/original-files.

Version 2026-10-10 Seller ENCORE-PERFORMANCE LTD

Digital files — please read before you buy

  • Processing starts immediately after payment: we request your file from the supplier right away and e-mail it to you as soon as it arrives.
  • All sales are final: no refunds, no returns, no exchanges. It is a digital file and cannot be returned.
  • Check the HW/SW numbers on the file page against your own ECU before you buy.

The short version

  • The price is €20 per file — the total you pay. Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, processed by Stripe.
  • Your card is authorised at checkout and charged only when your file is ready. If we cannot provide the file, your card is not charged.
  • The file is e-mailed to you, usually within minutes. Files that the supplier’s operator has to prepare can take several hours — normally within 24 hours.
  • You get the original read only, as a ready-to-use .bin file — no full backups, EEPROM, SGO or VBF files. Check the HW/SW numbers before you buy.
  • All sales are final: no refunds, no returns, no exchanges, and no guarantee that the file suits your vehicle or tool (section 8).
  • We keep your file for 7 days only — save your own copy.

This summary is for convenience. The full Terms below apply.

1.About these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to Quick buy: buying an original ECU file on auto-remap.com/original-files by card, without creating an account. They form the contract between you and us for that order.

They do not apply to purchases made with a file-service account at fs.auto-remap.com: those purchases are governed by the terms published there.

How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

In these Terms, a “consumer” is an individual buying wholly or mainly for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Where a rule applies differently to consumers and to business customers, we say so.

Please read these Terms before you order. You accept them by ticking the box at checkout. Quick buy is intended for adults (18 or over). We e-mail you an order confirmation that records the statements you confirmed and the version of these Terms you accepted. You can also print this page or save it as a PDF.

2.Who we are

Quick buy is provided by:

ENCORE-PERFORMANCE LTD, trading as Auto-Remap (auto-remap.com)
85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, W1W 7LT, United Kingdom

“We”, “us” and “our” mean ENCORE-PERFORMANCE LTD.

You can contact us by e-mail at [email protected] or on Telegram at @qwertyworkz. Please quote your order number (it looks like ORI-081026-7K4M) whenever you contact us about an order.

3.What you buy

Each file page describes one original ECU file by its identifying numbers — such as the hardware (HW) and software (SW) numbers, and the calibration where shown — together with the vehicle and ECU it comes from.

  • You receive the original read of that ECU, delivered as a ready-to-use .bin file: we unpack the supplier’s archive and rename the .ori file to .bin for you. If a read consists of several files, you receive them in one ZIP archive, already renamed to .bin.
  • The file is supplied as held in our supplier’s database. We do not change its contents.
  • It is the original read only. It is not a full backup and does not include EEPROM, SGO or VBF files.
  • Different tools and reading methods expect different file sizes and formats. Checking that the file suits your tool is your responsibility.
  • Before you buy, check that the HW/SW numbers on the page match your ECU. Vehicle details (model, engine, power, years) are given as a guide; the identifying numbers define the file.
  • Quick buy is for the file only. It does not include tuning services or tuning support, and no bonus or account balance. If you need those, buy through an account on the file service.

4.Placing an order

  1. On the file page, choose Quick buy and enter your e-mail address twice. Use an address you check — temporary or disposable mailboxes are not accepted.
  2. Confirm the following statements by ticking them:
    • I have checked the HW/SW numbers against my ECU. This is the original read only — no full backups, EEPROM, SGO or VBF files. The file size my tool needs is my responsibility.
    • Please start right away. I understand that once the file has been sent I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal.
    • All sales are final: no refund if I picked the wrong file or my tool needs a different file. I agree to the Terms of Service.
  3. Pay in the secure Stripe payment form.

Your order is placed when you complete payment in the payment form (your card is authorised at that point, see section 5). We then send an order confirmation to your e-mail address with your order number, a link to your order page and the statements you confirmed. The contract between you and us is made when we send that confirmation.

Your order page shows the status of your order as it progresses. If you made a mistake in your e-mail address, you can correct it there (a limited number of times).

We may decline or cancel an order if the file is not available from our supplier or if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we do, we tell you, and your card is not charged — the authorisation is released.

5.Price and payment

The price is shown on the file page and in the payment form (currently €20 per file). It is the total price you pay: there are no delivery or other charges from us. Your bank may charge its own fees, for example for currency conversion or foreign payments.

We accept credit and debit cards, including cards in Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details in Stripe’s secure form; we never see or store your full card number. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment (3-D Secure).

When you are charged. At checkout your card is only authorised: the amount is reserved and may show as pending on your account. We take the payment only when your file is ready and sent to you. If we cannot provide the file, we cancel the order and release the authorisation, so your card is not charged. How quickly a released reservation disappears from your account depends on your bank.

Your card or bank statement shows our business descriptor followed by the last 4 characters of your order number, so you can match the payment to your order.

6.Delivery

After your payment is confirmed, we request your file from our supplier’s database. Most files are delivered within minutes.

  • Some files have to be prepared by the supplier’s operator first. This can take several hours — normally within 24 hours. Your order page shows when this is the case, and we let you know by e-mail.
  • We can deliver a limited number of files each day. If the day’s capacity has been reached, your order moves to the next delivery window, which opens after 00:05 Central European Time (Berlin time). When we know this before you pay, we say so on the file page.
  • Delivery times are estimates. If we cannot obtain your file at all, we cancel the order and release the authorisation — your card is not charged.

When your file is ready, we e-mail it to the address you gave us as a ready-to-use .bin file (a read that consists of several files arrives as one ZIP of .bin files). The file is attached when it is small enough for e-mail, and the e-mail always contains a download link. The link in the e-mail is valid for 72 hours, and your order page shows a download button for as long as we keep the file. The file can be downloaded up to 5 times in total.

Keep your own copy. We keep the delivered file on our servers for 7 days only and then delete it. Please download it and save it as soon as you receive it.

Your file counts as sent when we make it available for download on your order page or e-mail it to you, whichever happens first. If our e-mail does not arrive, check your spam folder and your order page, or contact us.

7.Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content, such as a file you download, without giving a reason.

Because Quick buy starts delivery straight away, at checkout you expressly ask us to start supplying your file immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the file has been sent. The law allows this: regulation 37 of the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU. We confirm your request and acknowledgement in your order confirmation e-mail.

Until the file has been sent, you can cancel free of charge. Contact us by e-mail or Telegram, give your order number and tell us you want to cancel. If your message reaches us before the file has been sent, we cancel the order and release the authorisation — your card is not charged. If the file still reaches you after your cancellation message, please delete it.

You do not have to use any particular wording, but you may use this model form:

Model cancellation form (complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel the contract)

To: ENCORE-PERFORMANCE LTD, 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, W1W 7LT, United Kingdom, e-mail: [email protected]

I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following digital content: original ECU file, order number ____________

Ordered on: ____________
Name: ____________
E-mail address used for the order: ____________
Date: ____________

8.All sales are final

All sales are final. We do not give refunds, accept returns or make exchanges — for example if you change your mind, chose the wrong file, your tool cannot use the file, or your tool needs a different file size or format.

Files are supplied as held in our supplier’s database. We give no guarantee that a file suits your vehicle, your ECU or your tool. Checking the HW/SW numbers, and what your tool needs, before you buy is your responsibility.

Until the file has been sent you can still cancel free of charge (section 7).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right or liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

9.Acceptable use

  • You may use the file only for lawful purposes, such as repair, diagnostics or restoring an ECU that you own or are authorised to service.
  • You must comply with all laws that apply to you and to the vehicle, including rules on vehicle emissions, type approval and road traffic. You are responsible for any modification you make with the file.
  • You must not redistribute, publish, share, sell or resell the file or your download link, or upload the file to file-sharing sites or databases.
  • Keep your order page link and download links private: anyone who has them can see your order status or download your file.

10.Intellectual property

The file contains software whose rights belong to their respective owners, such as the ECU or vehicle manufacturer. We provide the file for your own use as described in section 9. No ownership or other rights in the software pass to you.

Vehicle and ECU manufacturer names and part numbers are used only to identify the file. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those manufacturers.

11.Our liability

If you are a consumer, we are not responsible for loss or damage that is not a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms.

If you are a business customer, our total liability arising from or in connection with an order is limited to the price you paid for that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

Writing files to an ECU. Writing (flashing) software to an ECU carries risk. Always make your own full backup with your tool before writing, and check that the file matches your ECU and your tool. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from writing a file you selected to an ECU — for example because it was not the right file for your ECU or tool, or because of a tool error, a power loss or an interrupted write.

This section applies subject to the last sentence of section 8.

12.Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as an outage at our supplier or payment provider. If this happens, your order page will show it, and if we cannot provide your file at all, your card is not charged. You can also cancel free of charge before the file is sent (section 7).

13.Support and complaints

If you have a question or a complaint, contact us by e-mail at [email protected] or on Telegram at @qwertyworkz, quoting your order number. If you have lost the link to your order page, write to us from the e-mail address you used for the order and we will send it again.

If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with our answer, you can get free advice from a consumer advice service — in the UK, for example, Citizens Advice; in the EU, the European Consumer Centre in your country.

14.Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim either in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of the country (or part of the UK) where you live.

If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

15.Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how Quick buy works. The version date at the top of this page shows which version currently applies to new orders. Your order is governed by the version you accepted when you placed it; we record that version with your order and in your order confirmation e-mail.

16.General

  • The contract is concluded in English.
  • If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest of the Terms continue to apply.
  • The contract is between you and us. No other person has any rights to enforce it.
  • If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation; this will not affect your rights under the contract.
